Golden Globe Awards 2014: best dressed and winners
The Red Carpet Season is, officially open! Let the gossip begin…
Some might say the Golden Globes red carpet is “the wannabe little sister” of the historical Oscars but for us, it’s the beginning of a whole new year full of surprising new fashion looks, mix and matches we would never think of, extravagant accessories, good choices and bad choices of course, but most of all, a new year of exciting celebrity fashion trends! So, we are more than happy to report to you our own view of last night’s 71st Golden Globe Awards: best dressed and winners.
Best Dressed
There was some controversy yesterday as one would expect regarding who was the best and worst dressed at the Globe’s red carpet, but if you have been an avid follower and reader of our beautiful Love Happens blog you will now which one as caught our eye. It was the fabulous and unique black lace and tulle gown by Armani Privê embellished with bright sparkling accessories.
And is if the award for the best dressed of the Golden Globes 2014 wasn’t enough, she took home the Globe for Best Performance by an Actress for her role in indie flick Blue Jasmine. Congratulations Cate!

However, and because a new year means new beginnings, we have also fell in love with the elegant red silk Ralph Lauren Collection gown worn by the beautiful Lupita Nyong’o. A stunning off-the-shoulder cut, perfect fit with Lupita’s simple accessories.

Nothing symbolizes 18th century furniture more than the cabriole leg; we have taken this exceedingly elegant leg and graced it with a precious glass case lined in luxurious velvet for a young modern & highly refined look.
