Top Looks from the Christian Siriano Spring 2017 Collection

Christian Siriano may not be the most celebrated designer by fashion critics, but the women he dresses beg to differ. Known for his celebration of various body types, Christian Siriano continued his crusade during his Spring 2017 Ready to Wear collection during New York fashion week. His Capri-inspired line was full of cerulean blues and tangerine oranges, mixed with black and white, and feminine, flowy silhouettes reminiscent of yachting the Italian coast. As a KOKET favorite and top fashion designer, join us while we explore the top looks from the Christian Siriano Spring 2017 collection.

Siriano has garnered some much needed attention this year within the social and fashion world: first dressing Leslie Jones for her premier of Ghostbusters (after she criticized the fashion industry for not wanting to style her), and second when he adorned the First Lady in a stunning blue dress for the Democratic National Convention where she gave her widely praised speech.

Fluid yet feminine silhouettes and of course his signature ruffles, were widely seen within the collection in the form of pants suits, mini dresses and mid-length skirts paired with crop tops. Not one to be crazy with pattern, Siriano’s color palette was unfailing and fairly plain minus some stripes and florals, and an elaborately beaded mini dress.
