Luxury Furniture Creates Glamour in a Vienna Apartment by Elke Altenberger Interior Design
This refined, yet ever so slightly eclectic, and contemporary apartment design in Vienna was created by Austria based Elke Altenberger Interior Design. The crisp white walls, stone gray upholstery and blonde wood floors are enlivened and glamorized with a mixture of silver and gold luxury furniture and décor.
With more than 20 years of experience, Elke Altenberger specializes in a very intimate and focused partnership with each of her clients which can be seen reflected in the comprehensive attention to detail found in her projects.
When asked what she loves most about being an interior designer, Elke replied, “In short: I feel addicted to what I’m doing. It’s just what I am. In fact identifying a priority within the variety of my business is not easy. Maybe the transfer of the salient criterion of my clients – always different and individual – is what I love most.”

Our very own KOKET is one of Elke’s top-notch suppliers! Seen here next to a stunning over-sized floor lamp with a turquoise base, gold stem and black shade, is KOKET’s gold sunburst mirror, Guilt. These two dramatic pieces are exquisite eye-candy in the dining room side of the combined dining/living space.
The apartment’s entry features KOKET’s Mandy, a twisted polished brass demi-lune stool with a striking black velvet seat, set beneath a full-length gold framed mirror. A contemporary rug, elegant gold and black Trinity console by Boca do Lobo, and a colorful Asian print complete this unique foyer.
