A Modern Classical Home Design Outside Beirut, Lebanon
Mixed Materials and an Exquisite Tall Floor Lamp Define a Modern Classical Home Design by Fadia O Chaker Design
Lebanese interior design and architecture firm Fadia O Chaker Design SARL created this vibrant home design using a combination of modern and classical styles, natural materials, custom made exclusive furniture, and an exquisite collection of contemporary art and accessories from around the world.
Founded by Fadia Chaker, the company works on a wide range of projects in Lebanon and overseas. With a reputation for producing exciting contemporary interior works in addition to offering branding services the team of architects and designers produces innovative designs that create high value results for their clients.
Recent projects include a selection of prestigious restaurants and shops in Lebanon and the Arab region, private yachts, and a number of high–end residential new builds and refurbishments for private clients, such as this luxury apartment project in the Bhersaf region of Metn, just outside Lebanon’s capital, Beirut.
Primary red and yellow accent the predominantly natural palette found in the living room where a modern geometric gray tone on tone patchwork accent wall is in harmonious contrast with the classically inspired hand-carved black ombre Lotus floor lamp by KOKET. This dramatic, tall floor lamp featuring a fanciful Victorian-inspired fringed black shade lined in gold, adds height and a hint of whimsy to the space. Also featured in the living room is KOKET’s elegant upholstered tufted bench, Prive, its stunning jewelry adorned pillows give a hint of feminine glamour to the room.
Although none of the apartments upholstered chairs were by KOKET – they certainly could have been as KOKET has an extensive collection of modern classical upholstered chairs!
In addition to the main living spaces Fadia O Chaker also created a gorgeous bathroom, sitting room and bedroom for this client.
Fadia O Chaker is not only an ultra talented interior architect and home decorator, she is also an empowering woman as can be seen in her words on her site, “Believe in yourself, work hard, take risks and dream big. It doesn’t matter how slowly you go as long as you are moving forward.”
