Living life on the fast track? Looking for turn-key, concierge-level luxury design in 90 days or less? You must meet one of the industry’s top interior designers Denise McGaha and her namesake Dallas, Texas based firm!

“I strongly believe that luxury design can be delivered with a timeline. I want each of our projects to have my full attention and focus, so we move through them quickly and our clients are engaged on a constant basis throughout the process.”

With sophisticated methodology and solid business acumen, Denise McGaha Interiors offers its roster of discerning clients luxury design on a timeline through their trademarked method “Designing with a Deadline” and its core feature of Deadline Driven Design solutions. The result – prompt completion of their projects without a trace of the whirlwind which took place during the design, procurement, and installation process!

“Go big or go home” is Denise’s mantra (not surprising given her Texas roots!), and she sure has proven to live by these words! With no prior experience in interior design, she left her great-paying job at the corporate offices of luxury retailer Neiman Marcus, where she honed her well-trained eye and was an integral part of the team that launched NeimanMarcus.com to start her design firm in 2001. Over the past 16 years, she has simultaneously raised two children, developed an innovative and highly sought-after niche with her deadline-driven luxury design philosophy, and created stunning interiors for her growing list of VIP clients.

Recognized as an interior design influencer, Denise, and her design projects, have been featured in national advertising campaigns for luxury manufacturers, including Miele, Loloi Rugs, and Silestone by Cosentino. As a Trendspotter for Cosentino, Denise was part of the design team that developed new and innovative countertop designs for Silestone. Denise has also been a designer for Curated Kravet, designing rooms for their Quick-Ship furnishings and accessories collections, which complement her “Designing with a Deadline” service.

Influenced by Alexander McQueen, Lanvin, and her love for the city of Paris, Denise’s interiors are often colorful and not just pops – full-on color and always sophisticated! On her design aesthetic, she refers to what she believes is a room’s must-haves, “There has to be original art, collections, comfort, down-filled pillows and cushions, and dogs. My look invites you into the space, and there has to be a drinks table or surface at every seat. I love color, and each room I design has a bold color statement, even if it’s neutral.”

“This sitting room is in the home of my very first design client 16 years ago,” says Denise in reference to the room depicted above. “It’s a perfect example of a ‘Denise look’: collected, artisanal and personalized.”

Denise McGaha Interiors also works in the commercial sector as seen in the stunning showroom above created for Fashion Glass and Mirror. “Even boring builder showrooms should have style,” she says about the project.

Good taste, an abundant enthusiasm for design, and a thorough understanding of the design business led the home furnishings and lighting brand Currey & Company to name Denise their Brand Ambassador, a role she has fulfilled since 2014. As Currey’s “insider/outsider”, she helps guide the company to do an even better job of providing the type of product and service that will delight and satisfy the desires of their customers.

Denise’s projects have been featured in top shelter publications including Traditional HomeModern Luxury Interiors, D Home and most recently her Villanova project (shown below) took the cover of the July/August issue of Luxe Interiors + Design magazine’s Dallas + Fortworth edition gracing the pages with alluring design and luxury furniture.

Denise is a frequent speaker on the business of design, and design efficiencies at High Point Market, Dallas Market, and ADAC and has had the honor of being selected to design several showhouse rooms, including the coveted Hamptons Designer Showhouse in Sag Harbor, NY, The Modernism Showhouse at the Christopher Kennedy Compound in Palm Springs, CA, The Southern Style Now Showhouse in New Orleans, LA and the October 2015 Wired & Inspired Virtual Showhouse by Dering Hall in which she featured our very own KOKET’s luxury dining table, Allure, and contemporary upholstered bar stools, the Chandras!

The glamorous bedroom shown below was created by Denise for the 2015 Hampton Designer Showhouse presented by Traditional Home. The tortoise green wallpaper that sets the stage for this luxurious bedroom is by fellow interior designer Celerie Kemble of Kemble Interiors for Schumacher.

This September Denise will be participating in the 2017 Dallas Decorators Showhouse presented by designer and TV host, Donna Moss, and Traditional Home magazine. Along with 20 other interior designers, Denise will be helping to transform an 8,000 sq ft mansion in Southlake, Texas to benefit the Alzheimer’s Association. Denise has been selected to create the home’s Game Room/ Lounge – can’t wait to see what she dreams up!
