Golden Globes Red Carpet Goes Black for Time’s Up

Murmurs of a blackout on the Golden Globes red carpet began before the holidays as stars began making mention of donning black dresses to make a statement against the sexual harassment epidemic plaguing the entertainment industry and beyond. Then, on January 2, 2018, the New York Times revealed that the all-black trend was a call to action by an organized campaign called Time’s Up.

The initiative aims to fight sexual harassment and inequality for women in the workplace and with over 300 public figures pledging their support it has raised more than $15 million to cover legal fees for people who have experienced workplace harassment.

A somber statement rang loud and clear on the red carpet as celebrities and activists took to it in unified support for Time’s Up 2018. Here are our top 10 favorite black dresses from the Golden Globes 2018!
