And while we definitely saw these trends across January’s Paris design events, we also saw some others. Take a peak below and then read on for the 2023 home decor trends we saw dominating in Paris.
2023 Home Decor Trends from Paris Déco Off and Paris Déco Home to Maison & Objet and “In the City”
Curves Everywhere, From Upholstery to Casegoods
Kicking off the curvy trend is Roche Bobois. In partnership with Maison & Objet Designer of the Year 2023, Raphael Navot, Roche Bobois showcased beautiful curves in the season’s trendiest palette, warm and earthy.
While curved sofas and chairs are definitely on trend in 2023, curves in tables and other casegoods also appear to be prominent.
Boucle
Seen across so many exhibitors during Paris’ January 2023 design shows, Boucle in rugs was also seen in many collections.
Geometrics
The striking straight lines and sharp angles of Geometric patterns appeared again and again, making this a surefire trend for the year.
Fluting
In Paris, we saw this trend in Elitis’s wall panels, but it appears in lots of bespoke installations as well. Either way, we love this look and Elits’ offering of it!
Nature Reigns On
From Natural Materials, Neutral Colors, and Landscape Inspired Motifs to Animals, Animal Prints, and Organic Inspired Forms—Nature reigns on in 2023 home decor trends.

Warm Earthy Tones
In tune with the 1970s vibe across all categories of design in Paris, the warm earthy tones of the era are trending in 2023 home decor for certain.
Glass & Mirrors
As seen in the What’s New preview from Maison & Objet, glass is trending as a material for 2023 home decor trends. In addition, we saw lots of mirror too.
Embroidered & Appliqued Details
This 2023 home decor trend leaves so much to love! Craftsmanship shines, and luxury radiates in each of these embroidered and appliqued products, from furniture to textiles, trimmings, and wallcoverings.
