Design Questionnaire with Stéphanie Coutas
French designer and gallery owner Stéphanie Coutas masters luxury-designed craftsmanship in modern spaces. Raised in Asia, the interior designer has created many projects in Paris’ most luxurious neighborhoods, starting with her personal project on the Esplanade des Invalides. As well as villas around the world, including the luxury mecca Saint-Tropez.
In addition to bringing beauty to private homes and hospitality spaces through her Paris-based design agency SC Edition, Stéphanie also runs Galerie Stéphanie Coutas: an inspiring space to present her exclusive furniture and decor pieces. Designs created through partnerships with brands such as Blanc Carrare for marble, Baccarat for lighting, and Tai Ping for rugs. SC’s one-of-a-kind pieces are a testament to her heritage and cultural background, which follow her daily work and inspiration.
As design goes, Stéphanie is passionate about contrast in her projects resulting in sophisticated and tasteful designs. Known for combining clear lines with strong, high-quality materials from precious woods to luscious velvets, there is something magical about an SC design.
