What is your idea of perfect happiness?
Perfect happiness is when I see my family and all the people that I care for be perfectly healthy and happy in everyday life.
What do you consider your greatest achievement?
My family is my greatest achievement so far, and being able, through the work that I love to provide for them and give them amazing opportunities.
What profession does your alter ego have?
My alter ego is a professional runner. I love running outdoors; it regenerates me and makes me feel good physically and mentally. Running helps me a lot at work and in my private life.
The project you will never forget.
A very large project we just recently completed for a major client in Vaucluse – NSW, Australia. We constantly collaborated with interior designers, builders, project managers, and all the professionals involved. We consolidated goods from over 20 different manufacturers from all over the world: USA, France, Portugal, and Italy… we rocked the world!
It was a massive task to organize, and everything ran smoothly from ordering to delivering and assembling on-site. So far the biggest challenge we have ever faced at Salbini, and we are very proud of it.
Your favorite business tool or resource.
People are the most precious resource I have! Salbini is a company made up of people, from internal to international staff, to friends around the world, who continue to introduce us to future clients.
We export luxury products to various countries, and this allows us to establish working relationships that often turn into friendships with people who speak languages and have different cultures. All of this is wonderful, a precious wealth, a resource of inestimable value!
The most timeless design.
For me, timeless design is eternal, beautiful to look at, but also functional. Like that of Piaggio’s “Vespa”, which became a symbol of the Italian “Dolce Vita” and is still imitated today. Absolutely amazing!
For my work, on the other hand, I’m lucky enough to be able to collaborate with many product and interior designers. When everyone does their job excellently, clients will love every single inch of their space, and it will feel timeless.
The biggest design faux pas.
Thinking only of aesthetics without taking into consideration the functionality and durability of the materials used.
Your design motto.
When you purchase an item for your home, you must be able to fall in love with it every day.
Our publisher KOKET makes statement décor; if you were to design a room around one KOKET piece, which would it be, and why?
The Kelly Sofa. I love the shapes of this sofa and the way the materials have been used to create the waves on the back.
