From 14 to 23 of September, London is hosting the “London Design Festival” and this vibrant inspiration will dive into the streets of the Union Jack capital. During these days, Design is explored in many ways and the partners are the main contributors for this. Deep, inspiring and innovative: design as it is. Searching for the news and be inspired by the trends: everything is possible, from the V&A Museum or the Landmark Projects.

From furniture, to fashion, craft, lighting, interiors, graphic, digital or product design, each category is a field to explore with your interior GPS. From London to the world, the roots of design are spreading with fierce trough the most influential atmospheres. All of them are must see but the top is outlined by mysterious and bold artists.

“Anachroquarianism” by Kristjana S Williams is one of them, following the gentle flight over the inspiring field of illustration, presenting a collection of brilliant works. Martha Freud is the romantic artist which work is literally illuminated by forms. She transforms dead objects into live pieces that fit perfectly inside your home. Eley Kishimoto is the 3rd item to add to your map and certainly you will not regret it. Her rugs and patterns are unmistakable and The Aram Gallery knows it and wanted to turn their gallery into a retrospective of the designer. The POP British Culture also leaves a mark at the London Design Festival, leading a journey from the 50s until nowadays. Patterns, accessories and legends are explored at POP! Design Culture Fashion, an exhibition where culture and style turns into a live diary of Britain past. Last, but not least, Marimekko is hosting a workshop followed by the inspirational words of: “Do. Dream. Share. Show. Create. Play. Inspire.” Those who attend it, will experience the unique moment of the creation of a Marimekko, a textile combination of style and creativity.
