Paley is a grand new restaurant adapted from what was built as the original headquarters of CBS Radio in 1938. The restaurant is fairly majestic in scale – high ceilings, lots of glass with the finishes and elegant curves borrowed from the Hollywood Moderne art deco style, the glass light fixtures embodies the vibe from 1963 and you feel that you could be in a white telephone movie.

With a nod to the ’20s and “stay a while” mentality, Delilah is redefining the Los Angeles party scene.
The main event in this restaurant are the four vertical pillars in the center, sheathed in 900 hand-cut mahogany petals, lacquered with a high-sheen finish it’s also set with a marble bar set amongst moody lighting, plush pink seating, crystal sconces, and mixed wood truly transport you back to the Prohibition era. El Dourado
If you walk too fast down Spring Street you just might miss it, however, this newest Cocktail Lounge is the new classy but not pretentious spot that you have to visit. With contractor James Peres, El Dorado owner Rio Hackford styled his DTLA basement speakeasy to evoke the secrecy of the building’s Prohibition-era roots: Tufted leather banquettes, low-lit sconces, and art-glass panels line the walls all screaming classic cocktail Art Deco.

Gwen’s meat-focused menu makes reference to the elegance and rituals of traditional butcher shops in Europe.
