In front of the camera, she is known for her contagious laugh, empathetic interviews, and her ability to enter one\u2019s life through the power of television. This talent has made her Portugal\u2019s number-one persona on national TV. I strongly believe Cristina and I were destined to meet at one point in our lives, but never in a swimming pool during a leisurely weekend stay in Comporta, Portugal. And never did I imagine this powerhouse to be so approachable and receptive to what I had to say.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Who was I to give my option to CRISTINA? Destiny put us in that pool. If you have watched her on TV or seen her at work, she is fierce with a contagious laugh, but on that day, she was serene, and her movements were gentile. She almost seemed surrendered to my words. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I wasn\u2019t saying anything different than what I say to friends, colleagues, mentees, or students. I was telling her to aim higher and reach for bigger things. Actually, I think I told her she had everything it takes to be the Oprah Winfrey of Portugal and that she should have her own network. She seems to be on her way with the launch of GIRA. Is it a coincidence that its prime color is purple, the color of royalty, power, and ambition? I don\u2019t think so; everything this woman does is well thought out.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The GIRA Launch Party, An Experience to Remember<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

I had the honor of attending the private launch of GIRA, which was held at the Palacette Gomes Freire in Lisbon, Portugal. Omer Gilnony, a visionary artist renowned for her specialty in immersive design, designed the stunning set.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Upon entering the event, guests walked up a pure white iron staircase that led to the GIRA experience rooms. Eu Sou Gira founder and host Cristina greeted visitors at the door dressed in the most perfect shade of cream. Her gold locks, pulled in a high ponytail, gave her a youthful look, while her vibrant red lipstick told the audience that he was serious about this new venture.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In Room #1, there was a tasteful display of liquid vibrators. Yes, ladies, you heard me!!\u2014a game-changer for all of us. This liquid vibrator has an instant tingling and warming effect that boosts blood flow to the right place in a buffet of flavors\u2014coffee, vodka, and ice. Sounds like the perfect cocktail to me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Next came Room #2, a sensual candle-lit room with luscious pillows displaying collagen packages, liquid vitamins, and skin detox.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Podcast & A Meal to Remember<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The Podcast\u2014Mulher de Tomates<\/em> was in Room #3, where guests were asked to write one question they would ask another woman\u2014mine\u2014\u201cWhat did you do today that made you better than you were yesterday?\u201d A name was pulled from a box, and that guest was the lucky one to answer every question\u2014thankfully not me!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dinner was in Room #4, a heavenly space filled with purple cala lilies and exotic lavender orchids cascading over tables draped in luscious fabrics. Portugal\u2019s finest Food Design Lab intimately curated dinner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
