They say that beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but anyone who feasts their eyes on the work of Emre Osmanlar will surely agree that it is one of a kind.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A native of the Mediterranean island of Cyprus, Emre draws on his multicultural background to create the foundation of his unique vision. Traveling back and forth between Europe, the Middle East, and Istanbul (where his flagship studio, aka H\u00f4tel Particulier, is based), Emre witnesses a diverse range of art and design. Thus, he turns his inspiration into timeless elegance and high-quality craftsmanship.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Earning experience in interiors, architecture, jewelry, and lighting, Erme celebrated his success by founding the Emre Osmanlar Design Studio in 2014. Since then, the studio has gained the reputation of being home to eclectic sophistication, attention to detail, and commitment to sustainability.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What is your idea of perfect happiness?<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Perfect happiness, for me, is a day filled with creativity, meaningful connection, and stillness. Waking up early to design in the morning light, sharing laughter over dinner with loved ones, and falling asleep knowing I\u2019ve created something beautiful and touched souls\u2014that\u2019s bliss.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What do you consider your greatest achievement?<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Establishing Emre Osmanlar as a cross-continental design studio known for its eclectic yet elegant interiors is something I\u2019m deeply proud of. But more than that, creating a body of work that emotionally resonates with people\u2014where a space feels like a home, not just a house\u2014is my greatest achievement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What profession does your alter ego have?<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

A ballet dancer. There\u2019s something profoundly moving about the discipline, vulnerability, and emotional precision of dance. Ballet tells stories without words\u2014through form, movement, and silence. It mirrors my design process: sculpting space through rhythm, harmony, and balance. If I weren\u2019t creating interiors, I\u2019d be dancing across a stage, using my body to communicate what words cannot.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The design you will never forget.<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

The restoration of Rustem\u2019s Bookshop in my hometown, Nicosia, Cyprus\u2014an enduring cultural landmark nestled within the ancient walled city. It is the oldest bookstore on the island, a place that has witnessed generations pass through its doors. Restoring it was not just a design project\u2014it was a tribute to memory, identity, and the resilience of culture in the world\u2019s last divided capital. I approached it with deep reverence, preserving its soul while subtly renewing its narrative. The scent of old books, the weight of history in its walls\u2014it will stay with me forever.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Your favorite business tool or resource.<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

A blank sketchbook. It\u2019s where all my projects begin. No app or software can replace the intimacy and spontaneity of pen on paper.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The most timeless design.<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

An antique kilim, handwoven with history and symbolism. It transcends trends, fits seamlessly into both modern and classical interiors, and carries the spirit of its maker.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The biggest design faux pas.<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Designing without listening. No matter how beautiful a space may look, if it doesn\u2019t serve its inhabitants\u2019 emotional and practical needs, it fails.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
