Milan Fashion Week is all about the art of dressing! The 3rd fashion week of the season focused on animal prints, maximalism, strong colors, and very personal styles. The schedule was strategically set with the biggest brands that Italy has to offer. With the goal to ensure that all eyes were on Milan. From Moschino and its provocate slogans to Dolce & Gabanna’s excess and tropical vibes and the powerful finish of Versace with Jennifer Lopez, Milan Fashion Week SS 2020 had tons to offer fashion lovers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Versace<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The Versace collection was based on Caribbean rhythms but THE moment of MFW was Jennifer Lopez. She completely stole the show with a reimagined version of the green dress she wore to the Grammys in 2000.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Moschino<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

This collection was dedicated to Pablo Picasso and his many muses. Thus the models were dressed with framed paintings and musical instruments. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Gucci<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The 70’s staples are here, in other words, platform shoes, huge sunglasses, column dresses, and Cuban-heeled dresses were highly on-trend at the Gucci show. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dolce & Gabanna<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The runway was full of giant palms with a carpet in leopard print. And the theme was obvious: we are in the Jungle! More specifically, in the Sicilian Jungle. The show had safari suits, animal and tropical prints, and scarf dresses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fendi<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

This was one of the most anticipated shows. It was the first collection designed since the passing of Karl Lagerfeld. The collection was influenced by the feeling of summer, 70’s inspired with statement accessories, including camouflage hats, and enormous sunglasses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Prada<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Prada showcased one of the best collections in a long time. Especially the tailored jackets with the shapes from the 70’s. However, it wouldn’t be a Prada show without prints and patterns, right?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Etro show was all about striped and monogrammed shirts, slouchy jeans, bohemian, and feminine styles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Missoni<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Staged at the Bagni Misteriosi (the giant pool in Porta Romana), the Missoni show was about suits, bohemian dresses, occasional shirts, masculine jackets. And of course, the house signature couldn’t be missed: stripes, zigzags, polka dots, and crochet were all in play as well. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This collection reimagined the 1970s. It was a more casual collection, with colorful tones, tie-dye boilersuits, suede jackets, and mini skirts. <\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n

The elements of nature provide endless inspiration at the Giorgio Armani Show. The main colors were shimmering greys, pastels, and pink. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Max Mara<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The collection was made for the female spy with pastel tones and military caps, grey suits and slick paints. It was dedicated to Phoebe Waller-Bridge, who created Killing Eve.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n
