The Metropolitan Museum of Art will celebrate its 150th anniversary this year with lots of exhibitions, and as usual, the Met Gala. The theme for the Met Gala 2020 is “About Time: Fashion and Duration”. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you think that last year’s theme<\/a> was confusing, you’ll probably think that this one is also. The 2020 exhibition was inspired by the French philosopher Henri Bergson’s concept of la dur\u00e9e<\/em> (duration). It will look back at women’s fashion from the last 150 years to coincide with the museum’s anniversary. Virginia Woolf will be the “ghost narrator” of the story.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
