Since the schools and most parks are closed (and it&#8217;s not recommended to leave the house) the ongoing challenge is to keep them entertained inside. If you&#8217;re desperate to drag them away from electronics, here are some ideas of things to do with kids during these hard times.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-css-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-center\" id=\"h-things-to-do-with-kids-during-quarantine\"><strong><em>Things to Do with Kids during Quarantine<\/em><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-css-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-do-a-science-experience\"><strong>Do a Science Experience<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Just because your kids aren&#8217;t at school, doesn&#8217;t mean they can&#8217;t learn with their family. If you have a future-scientist in your home, there are so many experiences fun (and safe) you can do with home ingredients. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-get-them-gardening\"><strong>Get Them Gardening<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you&#8217;re lucky enough to have a garden, you can take this opportunity to enjoy some fresh air with them, and at the same time, do fun stuff! It will be amazing for them to see their work growing and changing right in front of their eyes. You&#8217;ll quickly get surprised when you see how interactive and learning it can be for them. But of course, you could even consider video games, or even card games, better yet, a classic card game that\u2019s also a video game, such as <a href=\"https:\/\/www.247spades.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Spades<\/a> for example, but of course, you can\u2019t go wrong with Goldfish either.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.kkbykoket.com.pt\/index\/home\/?utm_source=LH_Blog&amp;utm_medium=banner&amp;utm_campaign=LH_Banner_article&amp;utm_content=kkbykoket_newcollection\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.lovehappensmag.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/ext-campaign\/article\/kk-by-koket-750.jpg\" alt=\"\"\/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-make-your-own-treasure-hunt\"><strong>Make Your Own Treasure Hunt<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This might give you extra work because you will have to design all the maps and arrange a treasure (like treats, jewelry, or a small toy). But in the end, it will be worth it, because they will love it (and they will for sure, stay entertained). You might even consider taking them camping along with this activity; just be sure to get the perfect <a href=\"https:\/\/theexpertcamper.co.uk\/tents\/family-tents\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">family camping tent<\/a> for the ultimate fun-filled adventure!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-put-on-your-bathrobes-and-make-your-own-spa\"><strong>Put on Your Bathrobes and Make Your Own Spa<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This can be relaxing for you, but also for them. You can try to use your bathtub and get your kids in there, with some face masks and pretend you&#8217;re in the spa. Try to find some inspirations with them, and then use their help for little stuff. Or if you don&#8217;t, CDs or even YouTube can also serve as great options. You can do a competition with you and your kids, embrace yourself a little as well, it will for sure entertain them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-learn-math-and-educate\"><strong>Learn Math and Educate<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Learning math can be a fun and engaging activity for&nbsp;kids&nbsp;during&nbsp;the&nbsp;coronavirus&nbsp;quarantine. One example of&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/brighterly.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">fun learning math<\/a>&nbsp;is through cooking and baking. Measuring ingredients, calculating portions, and adjusting recipes can all help&nbsp;kids&nbsp;practice their math skills while also creating delicious treats. Board games like Monopoly, Yahtzee, and Settlers of Catan also involve math and strategy, making them perfect for family game nights.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-camping-in-the-living-room\"><strong>Camping in the Living Room<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">With your blankets around your sofa, create a small tent. Turn off the lights, get some candy, and enjoy this with your babies. If you can, spend the night with them in there.
