Daughter of a residential painting and drywall contractor and custom home builder project manager, Bre’s knowledge of the design\/build industry began at a young age. As a result, she developed a deep passion for designing beautiful and functional spaces. A passion that led her to start her own design\/build firm where she and her team continually create stunning homes, bringing their clients’ dreams to reality.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What is your idea of perfect happiness?<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Dancing in my cowboy boots to country music, drinking chardonnay with my husband, family, and best friends; cruising on a boat at sunset, pulling the kids on the tube, wakeboarding myself, listening to country music; drinking rose at a rooftop bar with my girlfriends; yes, I\u2019m saying it, but doing the schlep and traveling with my kids\/husband and exploring and trying new things, exposing the kids to life; and lastly\u2014<\/strong>a quiet house, kids playing, music on, peace of mind with work\u2014<\/strong>like things are running, clients are taken good care of, and my husband and I enjoying our backyard.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What is your greatest extravagance?<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

I think the greatest luxury in life is flying private. My goal is to always travel that way. My consistent greatest extravagance is designing my experiences. I am quite the party\/event\/trip planner. Everything has an itinerary, is thoughtful, eventful, themed, and soooo fun!<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n

What do you consider your greatest achievement?<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

I am very proud of the way I beast mod-ed delivering my two 10 pounds, healthy baby girls vaginally, recovering, and building\/running a biz while doing it, so I\u2019d say I consider my greatest achievement is that I have been able to design my life the way I want. I really do live a happy, fulfilled, successful, busy, present life. I have been able to maintain a healthy family\/friends life, biz and I take care of myself physically, mentally, and emotionally. I find time for it all! I even get sleep! Haha. Something always has to give, and it\u2019s hard, but I feel like I do a pretty good job!

What profession does your alter ego have?<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

A professional athlete\/Olympian. Not for the money, not that women\u2019s sports get paid a lot, but for the pure competition, team aspect, and satisfaction of being the best. Playing on a team, strategizing how to win, playing off e\/o strengths, training, and practicing to be the best is how I am wired. I try and translate that off the court, of course now, but really playing just captures another level of who I am!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The project you will never forget.<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Designing two homes for baseball player, Matt Kemp\u2014<\/strong>one in Atlanta during a massive thunderstorm and the other in Texas. Both installs were insanely brutal, massive details, quick, but turnkey, and the amount of pressure was incredible. Following those, I knew I could handle any project, any scope, and any type of personality.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Your favorite business tool or resource.<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Probably Instagram or Pinterest. I get all of my inspiration from all over the world. There are so many creative and amazing people. It amazes me! From hiring employees via Instagram to motivation seeing what other people\u2019s passions are and how they create\/express themselves.
<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The most timeless design.<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

I\u2019d say a design that is understated\u2014<\/strong>looks effortless, is practical, and feels sophisticated. It\u2019s actually how I live and dress!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The biggest design faux pas.<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Clutter. Too much stuff. But other than this, I don\u2019t judge. There are so many ways to design. Everyone loves something different. Mix and match styles, colors, patterns. Sure, some spaces might feel like a lot, but it\u2019s subjective. The only reason I say clutter is because I get uneasy with clutter. I\u2019m an organized thinker and need spaces to be tidy in order to function.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Your motto.<\/strong><\/span><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

It\u2019s important to me that I design spaces that have meaning, utility, character, and personality.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I would also say a motto for me and my team will laugh at me, is that I really hate when people say \u201cindustry standard\u201d (IS). I don\u2019t believe in it. Maybe b\/c I didn\u2019t go to school for design and wasn\u2019t taught the \u201cright way\u201d, but my clients don\u2019t know what Industry Standards are, so why should I care. I\u2019m just going to design what I think feels right for what I know they want and their space.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Love happens when\u2026<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

You let it. I feel like we all overthink, we get in our own way. Trust the process and enjoy the ride. Easier said than done, but it\u2019s possible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n
