The stunning store recently unveiled 15 newly designed rooms, each as moodily beautiful and exquisitely designed as the next! What is your idea of perfect happiness?<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

For me happiness is a state of mind and a choice. When I reflect back over my life with its many ups and downs, I can\u2019t remember a time when I didn\u2019t feel an overall sense of happiness. Certainly I have had my moments of sadness and pain but I have found my attitude a powerful tool during those times. An \u201cattitude of gratitude\u201d seems to keep things in perspective and is proof that happiness isn\u2019t something to pursue but something to embrace.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What is your greatest extravagance?<\/strong><\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Shoes! I must admit that I have a weakness for beautiful footwear and a collection of which I am too embarrassed to number. I, like Carrie Bradshaw, understand that my acquisition of shoes does not a 401k make; however, I always seem to forgive myself of this particular indulgence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What do you consider your greatest achievement?<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

My relationships. I am a person who strives to build deep and meaningful relationships with my family and friends. The reward is ongoing and fulfilling. Monetary achievements are perfectly fine but my most treasured achievements cannot be bought or sold.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What profession does your alter ego have?<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

There are many! A singer, actor, counselor, attorney. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The project you will never forget.<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

There are many; however, if I had to name just one it would be a 12,000 square foot remodel and total gut job that we completed within 15 months. We did both design and build when we were only a staff of 3. We also had to source everything within the home during that time as the clients moved in bringing only their clothes. It almost killed us but we made it happen and the result is one of our most beautiful projects to date.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Your favorite business tool or resource.<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

People! Talented, driven, and goal oriented people are the most imperative and invaluable resource a business can obtain. Without them you cannot have a successful business.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The most timeless design.<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

As a designer, I strive to create spaces that evoke a timeless feeling and mood regardless of their particular style. Environments that are well-curated, collected, and authentic to their inhabitants will certainly remain timeless.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n

The biggest design faux pas.<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

How much time do we have? There are so many but I will refrain. Unless referring to dining chairs, dishes, or sheets the word \u201cset\u201d should be eliminated from all design dialogue. I remember as a child my parents at times purchasing new living room, dining room, and bedroom sets. Thank goodness that design approach couldn\u2019t be passed down genetically! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Your design motto.<\/strong><\/span><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

A bit clich\u00e9 but I live by the motto of \u201cwork hard play hard\u201d and \u201clive in the present\u201d. Life is so precious with no promise of tomorrow. I try to fully live each moment with the understanding that it is a gift not to be taken for granted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n

Love happens when you are focused on the present. It can be found everywhere. It should start from within by loving yourself and when that happens you can\u2019t help but radiate and attract it tenfold.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
