In this edition of\u00a0Love Happens\u2019<\/em>\u00a0Proust-style Design Questionnaire<\/a>, join us for a peek inside the creative minds of ladies behind Pulp Design Studios, Beth Dotolo and Carolina V Gentry. Beth and Carolina joined design forces in 2007 founding PDS. Today Pulp Design Studio has interior design offices in Seattle, Dallas, and Los Angeles along with Pulp Home, an online shop of original designs and curated goods.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What is your idea of perfect happiness?<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Carolina:<\/strong> Obviously my friends and family bring me\u00a0happiness, but one of the things that brings me happiness on a\u00a0daily basis is how we\u00a0change our client’s lives by\u00a0designing\u00a0beautiful\u00a0spaces for them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Beth:<\/strong> Being\u00a0surrounded by people\u00a0I care about and love,\u00a0surrounded by a beautiful space, and having\u00a0the freedom to travel and do creative\u00a0work\u2026 with of course a martini in hand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What do you consider your greatest achievement?<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Carolina:<\/strong> Working for one of the 100 giants companies in\u00a0interior design in my early career.\u00a0Then following that up by forming my own interior design company with my wonderful business partner, Beth\u00a0Dotolo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Beth:<\/strong> My\u00a0children and building a business.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What profession does your alter ego have?<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Carolina:<\/strong> My alter ego profession is a food snob chef, because\u00a0I\u00a0love\u00a0food SO much.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Beth:<\/strong> A business coach. I always want to help other people build their businesses. I enjoy\u00a0helping people find what they love to do and build it into something tangible.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The project you will never forget.<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Carolina:<\/strong> Currently working on a gorgeous modern\u00a0Spanish\u00a0Mediterranean\u00a0home in South Texas. It’s near and dear to my heart\u00a0because it’s in my hometown. It’s been a labor of\u00a0love.\u00a0I’m so excited to see it\u00a0complete.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Beth:<\/strong> The Glass House Project I’ll never forget for three reasons. First, because it was one of the projects that leveled up our firm. Second, because the\u00a0clients were amazing and so wonderful to work with. And lastly, because I was working on this project when my mom was sick and passed away. It was one of the projects\u00a0I would\u00a0immerse myself in to forget about what was\u00a0happening.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
