House of Gucci <\/em>has been in theaters since November 24, 2021, and is causing a lot of talk. The film is a screen adaptation of the book “The House of Gucci: A Sensational Story of Murder, Madness, Glamor, and Greed”. And as hoped, its set and costumes ooze with style!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The movie marks the return of Lady Gaga to theaters, playing the character of Patrizia Reggiani. The cast also includes big names such as Al Pacino, Jared Leto, and Adam Driver. The latter plays Maurizio Gucci, the former husband of Patrizia Reggiani. It focuses on the entire history of the family, but also on the fall of the great fashion house, ending with the family leaving the brand they built. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the film, Aldo Gucci (played by Al Pacino), the grand patriarch of the family, lives in one of Lake Como’s most iconic mansions<\/a>. If we go back to the 17th century, it is clear that Villa Balbiano has popularly become a mandatory stopover, particularly for members of high society. Thus, memorable banquets and balls took place here. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Four centuries later, it has not lost its brilliant status, as it is a gem in Italy. So, Villa Balbiano is still very much associated with glamour.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We cannot refer to this palace without analyzing in detail all the design and works of art present in it. There are six luxurious suites. Also noteworthy is the extensive garden, which was even the reason for an award.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In fact, its interiors are iconic and relate to the history of art and architecture. Note that Cardinal Durini once resided in this space, acquiring a veritable collection of works of art.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Currently, the house is filled with antique furniture from auctions at Sotheby’s and Christie’s. There are pieces of furniture worthy of the nobility, such as paintings. The suites, decorated by Jacques Garcia, who gave his touch of innovation and modernization. Some materials stand out, such as marble and ostentatious crystals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
