Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week 2022 has finally come to an end, after several days of enchanting everyone. Creativity, extravagance, and daring were not lacking in the various shows, which resulted in a week full of inspiration and trends for the Spring\/Summer 2022 season.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Schiaparelli<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The programming of this dazzling event started in the best possible way, with Schiaparelli. The collection presented can be defined as extravagant and irreverent. Daniel Roseberry mentioned that he designs to make people feel something, stressing that fashion can be a way of touching people and moving them.
\u201cAn Age of Discipline\u201d is the theme of this show, which was the first in-person since the beginning of the pandemic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fendi<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

As had happened in other shows, the night and the galactic scenery were inspirations for this parade. Most of the models presented were dresses that aim to illustrate the best of craftsmanship.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Valentino<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Valentino once again shone, this time with \u201cThe Anatomy of Couture\u201d. Pierpaolo Piccioli, the brand’s creative director, intended to value all women in this show. Thus, the collection is not designed for the stereotype of women that we are used to seeing on the catwalk. In this collection, all types of bodies and all ages have a place. These looks aim to convey harmony through beauty.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Alexandre Vauthier<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

This collection presented at Haute Couture Week could be defined as elegant and daring. Sequins and feathers are part of some of the best looks. Alexandre Vauthier presents several pieces in red, white, and black. The reasons why Haute Couture is so unique are clearly present in the blazers, dresses, and coats.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Chanel<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The aim of Virginie Viard, the artistic director of Chanel, was to design a collection that reflected the spirit of summer, but at the same time was differentiating. Thus, the collection has embroidery, feathers, and fringes. According to the creator of the collection, the inspiration is the mid-20s, seeking to bring out the feminine side. Furthermore, it is important to mention that the show started with Princess Charlotte of Monaco, dressed in a Chanel jacket, riding a beautiful horse. It is clear that the collection is versatile without losing its classic touch.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dior<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Dior’s collection is a tribute to human connection. Through the use of a color palette of black, white, and gray, the creator intended to show that craftsmanship is what finishes a piece, but that ends up being devalued by people as if it were not part of a long design process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jean Paul Gaultier<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The show was very much based on the legacy left by Jean Paul Gaultier himself. Thus, the designer Glenn Martens celebrated the authentic history of Gaultier through the pieces presented in this show. Besides that, Martens decided to give his personal touch, not doing the same as what had already been created, so he bet on some innovative styles, such as long draped dresses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Viktor & Rolf<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Called by many as \u201cstrange\u201d, this collection gives a lot to talk about. In fact, the show took its inspiration from Dracula and Uncle Fester. It seems very unrealistic for vampires to inspire an entire Spring\/Summer fashion collection, but it happened. Fun was always present in the different looks, essentially for the pieces with extremely high shoulders, precisely to make reference to the Dracula movies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
