With the central theme &#8220;Women Leading Change&#8221;, this inspiring event brought together women leaders from different areas of business. Furthermore, it also praised companies that are concerned with equal opportunities. Over the course of the morning, we heard real testimonies and advice that is sure to make a difference in our professional lives!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>Love Happens<\/em> was honored to attend this conference, organized by <a href=\"https:\/\/executiva.co\/home\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Executiva<\/a>. Read on to learn more about women&#8217;s leadership.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator is-style-wide\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"has-text-align-center wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-discover-the-importance-of-female-leadership\"><strong><em>Discover The Importance of Female Leadership<\/em><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator is-style-wide\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Female Leadership Can Make the Difference<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Isabel Canha is the Director of Executiva. A woman who, through her opening speech at the event, essentially highlighted the difference that female leadership can bring to the professional world. The main theme \u2013 Women Leading Change \u2013 was not chosen at random. Consequently, the Executiva Director&#8217;s speech is about the fact that women are making a difference. In other words, the advantages a female leadership model presents to companies are continually proving.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In fact, women in leadership are still a minority. However, this should be a goal for the sustainable development of any organization. Although women have the technical and academic skills to be great leaders, there are still many obstacles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-large is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.lovehappensmag.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/IC-e-MS-com...-__GCLFPorto-2022_-Executiva-1024x684.jpg\" alt=\"Janet Morais, Isabel Canha e Maria Serina in the Great Female Leadership Conference\" class=\"wp-image-66085\" width=\"710\" height=\"562\"\/><figcaption><em>Janet Morais, Isabel Canha e Maria Serina (Photo Courtesy of Executiva)<\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>The Main Challenges of Female Leadership<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Throughout the conference 14 inspiring speakers empowered through their speeches.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For example, Isabel Paiva de Sousa, director of executive programs at Porto Business School, emphasized the need for contagious energy within organizations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The product director of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.farfetch.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Farfetch<\/a>, Ana Cl\u00e1udia Santos, mentioned the importance of women in technology. In fact, women are increasingly taking up technological fields. For example, mathematics and engineering, which were previously very male-oriented. Women must be present in the technological world because they bring a lot of innovation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Women still have to work much harder than men to prove that they are worthy of a higher position. Discrimination for this reason still occurs in the 21st century.
