Zuhair Murad, known for high fashion designs, has had yet another stroke of genius in his new fall collection. For those just now entering the haute-couture conversation, Zuhair Murad is an iconic fashion designer. Since 1997, Murad has been designing bold, striking pieces. You may have heard this name recently, as it was his design that Jennifer Lopez wore to her wedding with Ben Affleck. And let us not forget some of the other stars who have worn his work: Blake Lively, Taylor Swift, Beyonce, and so many others. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Zuhair Murad has had his hands full with Hollywood stars over the years, and yet, stars are still on his mind. Not the people but astronomy and all things outer-worldly is his inspiration for the Fall 2022 couture line. Now, let us venture into the fashionable mind of Zuhair Murad to see bold designs, striking colors, and interesting ideas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Inside the Zuhair Murad Fall-Winter 2022-2023 Haute Couture Collection<\/em><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Daring Designs<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

In this collection, there are a few design elements that continue to stand out. Murad’s inspiration for this gallery was all about the spiritual plane and venturing into those other spheres. For this, Murad focused on just about every mystical art, from astrology to palmistry, to Tarot cards. Even zodiac signs made an appearance. As a result, there are elements both physically pleasing but also spiritually pleasing. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

One piece that stood out in almost every single creation was the usage of eyes. Eyes, most known to be the “windows to the soul”, were used everywhere in these dresses. It was almost as if there were always eyes watching. For many, eyes are a way to see a person’s true spirit. Eyes cannot deceive, the same way that these eyes cannot be overlooked. While some might see this contribution as creepy, many see it as a true glimpse into the mindset of Zuhair Murad. He is focused on both the aesthetic of the eye but also what that purity means to him. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition to eyes, snakes are also common features in the collection. Many might believe that snakes are untrustworthy or even evil. However, Zuhair Murad welcomes the positive connotation of snakes. He views snakes as a sign of health, protection, and physical strength. It is in both of these designs that Murad plays with the light and the darkness, the good and the bad. These snakes are interwoven into many of the patterns as if hiding in the shadows.<\/p>\n\n\n

Cutout Couture<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

As we step away from the more insightful ideas about the collection, let us look at something more fashion-forward. Cutouts, both in street fashion and on the runway, are something quite popular. Showing skin is always a trend, and we welcome it with open arms. In this ensemble, these missing pieces are fashionably placed and highlight the body well. Some accentuate the waist, leaving a more hourglass look to the wearer. Others are lower down on the hip, giving a more full look. Either way, these cutouts are designed for beauty and to make the human body that much more beautiful. <\/p>\n\n\n

High-Style Hues<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Everyone loves primary colors, especially with a bold print. As the audience, this love is completely fulfilled by Murad. In addition to eye-catching patterns, the color scheme is entirely that. Eye-catching. Some of the most prominent colors are a bright purple and an even brighter green. It is vibrant and full of life. Murad creates the unexpected, especially in a line inspired by astrology. Most would think that the entire collection would be dark blues or blacks. While these colors are featured, they are not the only ones at play here. Murad contrasts daring designs with dark backgrounds and glamourous colors with little to no design element. It is shocking exactly what Murad was thinking. <\/p>\n\n\n

Odd designs? Check. Vivid colors? Check. And yet, there is still something more dauntless in this gallery. Murad displays just about every fabric known to man. He used feathers, tulle, silk, and even metal for belts. No two dresses look the same, and the material just showcases how different each and every design is. For the onlooker, you cannot complain about the same style being used. There is something for everyone. The only real consistency in the materials is the beauty on display. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
