On arrival at the Baccarat Hotel New York, we felt the glamour as we approached the dark elevators, an overarching air of fancy<\/em>. We entered a room home to the incredibly kind waiters and hosts, who led us to a perfectly placed table. Outside the window across from us, a New York City scape. Inside, classically modern decor of red flowers and dark uniforms surrounded us. We sat just a moment before the champagne arrived for a toast of stunning Baccarat crystal glasses. Cozy in the hotel’s Grand Salon with Le Menu du Th\u00e9 in front of us, we ordered with complete confidence in our surroundings. Roses and Jasmine, such wonderful teas. For centuries, Baccarat has created masterpieces for royal households throughout the world. Honoring that legacy, the iconic French crystal brand imagined a tea service as it might have been enacted in the world’s grand palaces. A truly enchanting experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Paired with the beautiful teas and tisanes, came an even more exquisite experience of colorful fingerfood. Between decadent displays of foie gras, macarons, and mini sandwiches, rested the unforgettable scones. Hot, beautiful and deliciously sweet scones. The masterful menu is the creation of Culinary Director Gabriel Kreuther. A Michelin-starred and James Beard-award-winning chef, Gabriel is the chef behind the eponymous French restaurant and neighboring handcrafted chocolate shop, Kreuther.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
