After beating breast cancer in 2015 (YES!), Ginger started her Dallas\/Fort Worth-based design firm to inspire others to elevate their homes. What is your idea of perfect happiness?<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Perfect happiness will always be a little imperfect. Learning to love and appreciate those beautiful, imperfect moments is happiness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What do you consider your greatest achievement?<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Wow, that is hard. I am tempted to say writing my book, but in reality, I think starting and growing a successful company in which I get to work with the most amazing people is what I consider my greatest achievement.<\/p>\n\n\n

What profession does your alter ego have?<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Athena Calderone<\/a> in the kitchen!!! Can I please be her! I need her dog too.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The project you will never forget.<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

The Bungalow. My husband worked to renovate our old shed for a very special bday gift. He had 6 weeks to pull it off, and I had 6 weeks in tantamount to design it. Every memory I have working side by side with him, I will always cherish. Not to mention roping in my BF to hang wallpaper in a 110-degree shed as well as scouring the entire town in search of used books for the very charming book wall.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The biggest design faux pas.<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

When I first started out as an interior designer, I specified a paint color that read differently in person than it did on my fan deck. After painting the client’s whole house and then REPAINTING it, I will never make this mistake again.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Your design motto.<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Design fearless, defy the status quo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
