When Andi Morse started Morse Design in 2015, she had already been dabbling in interior design for years. Her natural inclination for creating beautiful, liveable spaces had made her the go-to of friends and family looking for input on their own projects. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

For many years, the Atlanta-based designer focused on raising her three daughters. But once the youngest was off to college, her attention fell to the pursuit of a lifelong passion. Inspired by her own mother’s keen eye for interior decorating, she embraced her passion and set forth to create her boutique design studio.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Andi’s personal style emphasizes a blend of timeless and contemporary elements, creating a warm, soft aesthetic. The results are welcoming, intimate, liveable spaces with pops of color that invigorate the imagination.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What is your idea of perfect happiness?<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Perfect happiness is spending the day with all 3 of my girls! We can be doing anything, even if it’s nothing. I just love being with them! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

What do you consider your greatest achievement?<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

My greatest achievements are my 3 girls. They have grown up to be such loving, hard-working, successful individuals but most importantly, they have a mind of their own and I love seeing them make their own decisions using it! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

What profession does your alter ego have?<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

My alter ego would be an organization professional. I love organizing and nesting, I just don’t have that much time to do it.\u00a0 However, I do feel I work better and do everything better, for that matter, in a more organized home.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The project you will never forget.<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

The project I will never forget is working on a home for artist, Amy Sherald, and her mother. Amy is a wonderful person in every sense of the word and is an absolute pleasure to be around. She gave me complete creative freedom and trusted me in my decisions which allowed me to do some of my best work in my opinion. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Your favorite business tool or resource.<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Canva is my favorite business tool because you can do a lot with it, but I love using it for client presentations. It allows me to present clear, concise, and organized looks for our designs that are then able to be communicated to the client quickly at a glance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The most timeless design.<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

 The most perfect timeless design is simple yet understated by using solid, textured fabric combinations with some antique wood pieces.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The biggest design faux pas.<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

The biggest design faux pas is trying to design by only incorporating trends and not incorporating ideas and items that you truly love whether they are the “it” items of the moment or not. Rooms that are too trendy end up with no personality of the homeowner and don’t last long. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Your design motto.<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Trust the designer; it allows magic to happen!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our publisher, KOKET<\/a>, makes statement d\u00e9cor. If you were to design a room around one of their pieces, which would it be, and why?<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

I love this round dining table. Sometimes it is too hard to find ones that are not too big or too small as they allow for a much better conversation where everyone sitting at the table can be a part of it. I love the uniqueness of this particular\u00a0base because it’s unique,\u00a0not traditional, but not too over the top, either.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n
