Saturday Indulgence, Italian Style

After a busy week of meetings in Dubai, our team decided to treat ourselves to something special—a long, leisurely Saturday at Ballarò’s Mangiamo Brunch inside The Conrad Dubai. Known for its vibrant energy and authentic Italian flavors, the brunch promised exactly what we needed: indulgence, laughter, and a table full of delicious memories.

Where Italy Meets Dubai

Stepping into Ballarò felt like stepping into a sunlit Italian courtyard—warm, buzzing, and utterly inviting. The interiors balance Dubai sophistication with Mediterranean charm: polished marble floors, natural wood accents, and soft, earthy tones that set the perfect backdrop for a feast. The scent of freshly baked bread and wood-fired pizza drifted through the air, mingling with the soft hum of live music.

We were instantly drawn into the convivial spirit that defines this brunch—Mangiamo, after all, means “let’s eat” in Italian, and that’s exactly what we did.

A Feast for Every Sense

The spread was a masterpiece of Italian craftsmanship. We began with creamy burrata, glistening with olive oil and paired with ripe cherry tomatoes. From there came endless rounds of handmade pasta, tossed with just the right touch of truffle, and wood-fired pizzas whose aroma alone could make you smile.

Between courses, waiters poured free-flowing Champagne, while the band filled the room with upbeat tunes that set the pace for an afternoon of pure joy. Conversations flowed as easily as the bubbles, as we sampled our way through a menu that truly celebrated the art of Italian dining. And while that is not us in the photo above, it is a perfect representation of the fun to be had at the Mangiamo Brunch!

And then came dessert—a moment of pure indulgence. Chef Praveen Kumar’s creations were a sight to behold: decadent tiramisu, glossy fruit tarts, and delicate cannoli filled with sweet ricotta. Each bite was perfection, a sweet symphony that ended the experience on the highest note.

The Art of Hospitality

After four hours of feasting and conversation, we lingered over our final sips of espresso, reluctant to leave. The staff’s attention to detail made the experience seamless, warm, and genuinely personal—luxury hospitality at its best.

The next day, as we made our way through the elegant lobby of Conrad Dubai, I witnessed a perfect reflection of Dubai’s famed service culture as the concierge passed me a single red rose at checkout.
