Janet Morais’ love affair with design began in childhood, when she instinctively reimagined the rooms around her and filled them with objects arranged in imaginative ways. After studying design and launching her own interior design and branding firm, DeMorais International, her search for exceptional craftsmanship ultimately led to the creation of KOKET. Today, she continues to shape the brand with the same playful femininity and bold vision that defined her from the start.

Today, Sofia continues to translate imagination into the distinctive aesthetic that defines the world of KOKET, and its first-ever rug collection launched in 2026.
