ICFF 2018: Unique Design from the NYC Furniture Show
Love Happens LOVES unique design! So each time a furniture show takes place we are on the lookout for beautiful and inspiring creations! The end of May brought an abundance of new and innovative design to New York City with NYCxDesign’s five furniture fairs ICFF 2018, Wanted Design Brooklyn and Manhattan, Sight Unseen, and Brooklyn Designs. ICFF offered an amazing display of contemporary furniture and decor, but these 10 brands and their creations really grabbed our attention!
Wendy Morrison Design

Creator of exquisite bespoke rugs and textiles for the design trade and discerning residential clients, Wendy Morrison makes rug magic! Her colorful and beautifully designed custom rugs caught our eye – especially this rug. Hand-knotted in wool and silk and inspired by the intricate embroidery of Japanese Kimonos, Phoenix was a showstopper! All of Wendy’s rugs are amazing!

Gallery Beautiful – Sonya Rothwell

Founder of Gallery Beautiful and otherworldly artist Sonya Rothwell believes art is born of alchemy. Her cosmic oil paintings are artistic creations which express ‘subtly absorbed minglings with universal forces.’ At ICFF 2018 Sonya displayed her beautiful creations available in works of art, textiles, accent pillows, wallcoverings and unique lampshades. We were intrigued!

Founded in 2012 by siblings Aaron & Miranda Jones, Galanter & Jones designs and manufacturers the first and only of its kind heated outdoor furniture! Not only are their designs beautiful, they keep you warm – how could you not love it?!
Larose Guyon

Canadian based duo Audrée L. Larose and Félix Guyon joined creative forces and founded Larose Guyon in 2014. Together the pair creates unique luxury handcrafted lighting and objects such as this stunning string of pearls inspired fixture names Coco. Jewelry meets light with Larose Guyon and we love it!

Be still our beating hearts! Made in Italy since 1987, FOS Ceramiche’s porcelain forms, objects and surfaces are exquisite. And these hearts (there were many more than just these shown) are so fun and truly exceptional works of art.
