What Happens in London: PAD London 2013, Art and Design Event

Presented in a sophisticated setting in the heart of Mayfair, PAD is London’s boutique fair for design and 20thC art. Renowned for cultivating eclecticism and connoisseurship, PAD offers a panorama of museum-quality works of modern art, design, decorative arts, tribal art, photography and jewellery from some of the world’s leading international galleries. The top-tier contemporary design galleries to join the fair include SMO Gallery, Garrido Gallery, Galleria’O, Galerie Kreo, Galerie BSL, Galerie Gosserez and Galerie Italienne. 20thC design also expands with the participation of Galerie Matthieu Richard, Galerie Pascal Cuisinier and Galerie Dutko, while turn-of-the-century furniture will be represented by Atelier DL and Oscar Graf.

What Happens in Miami Design District: Poliform Miami Reopens

No, we are not advising you to go shopping at Dior, but we loved this image so we had to post it… The real event we are suggesting is the reopening of Poliform Miami in the Miami Design District in October 2013. The Poliform Design team has designed the space to incorporate a layering of materials; oak carbon, milky white glass and black bamboo walls add different textures into the space creating a rich environment, which will properly showcase the Poliform products.  The environment as a whole is elegant and inviting.  The 7000 square foot showroom will showcase the latest products available in the Poliform collection.

What Happens in Moscow: iSaloni Worldwide 2013


From 16^th to 19^th October 2013 the Saloni WorldWide will be taking the best of the home furnishing sector to Moscow, in Pavilion 2 at the international exhibition centre Crocus Expo. The Saloni WorldWide Moscow, a benchmark for Russia and the countries in its geopolitical basin, given the huge attendance at the 2012 edition (41,669 visitors, +15.26% on previous year show), will occupy more than 19,000 square metres of exhibition space and will host 557 exhibitors – 494 of them from Italy and 63 from Belgium, France, Germany, Holland and Spain. The huge range of commercial goods – from furniture to furnishing accessories, upholstereds, lighting solutions, kitchens, office furniture, accessories, bathroom furniture, textiles and coverings – is pivotal in attracting an ever-increasing number of visitors, from 13,199 at the first edition to 41,669 at the last.
