Breast Cancer Awareness month has ended, but the fight against breast cancer is an ongoing battle! The spectacular Holiday House showhouse, an annual charity fundraising interior design event, is in the final days of preparing to do its part with the help of top interior designers at their renowned Holiday House NYC and first ever Holiday House London. Founded in 2008 by breast cancer survivor Iris Dankner the 10th anniversary of the original Holiday House NYC is set to open on November 15th and close December 6th while its new London location will open on the 8th and close December 10th. In partnership with The Breast Cancer Research Foundation, proceeds from the event go toward the prevention and cure of breast cancer.
Read on to meet the top interior designers who will be showcasing their talent at the 2017 Holiday House showhouses in support of the fight against breast cancer, and for a sneak peak of some of their beautiful rooms!
For the inaugural Holiday House London two neighboring homes in the St John’s Wood neighborhood of northwest London were selected. The homes will showcase the work of top interior designers along with up and coming names such as Fiona Barratt Interiors, Bismut and Bismut, Nina Campbell x Justin Van Breda, Amelia Carter Interiors, Hazel Collins Design, Studio QD with Nicky Haslam, Laura Hammett, Taylor Howes Designs, Iggi Interior Design, Oleg Klodt Architecture & Design, Patrik Lonn Design, Maidenberg Architecture & Design, Shalini Misra LTD, Natalia Miyar Atelier, Sophie Paterson Interiors, Campion Platt Interiors, Turner Pocock, Studio Suss, CW Design, Roselind Wilson Design, Rachel Laxer Interiors and JKG Interiors.
“This is my 10th year of creating Holiday House events, and I’m thrilled to be introducing all of the beauty and inspiration that these showhouses offer to London. We have received so much enthusiasm from U.K.-based designers and design companies, as this event will be the first of its kind in the market,” says founder Iris Dankner.
The showhouse will be co-chaired by interior designer Rachel Laxer and breast cancer survivor and philanthropist Joyce Misrahi, shown above with founder Iris Dankner.
