Breakfast – Pasticceria Marchesi

Luxury in Milan – A KOKET’s day around Milan
Pasticceria Marchesi is one of the best pastry shops in Milan. It is also one of the most pleasant places for the kind of weekend breakfast that starts with cappuccino and brioche. In Italy, breakfast is not even remotely the most important meal of the day. Most of the time, it’s a matter to be taken care of quickly. This place is a great choice if you’re going to devote more than the average Milanese time for breakfast – that is, more than 3 minutes. There is no sits but the atmosphere with all the people talking and enjoying their breakfast is priceless. The historical architecture of the building and the fact that Prada bought part of this sweet Pasticceria, makes it our favorite in Milan.
Shopping at the Quadrilatero D’Oro – Galleria Vittorio Emanuele

Luxury in Milan – A KOKET’s day around Milan
Along with design and finance, fashion is the city’s biggest draw. Its influence spreads to the worlds of publishing, dining, partying and commerce, so you’ll be hard pressed to avoid it. What’s more, people do actually wear the wacky garments you see paraded at the city’s twice-yearly fashion weeks: many a Milan street looks like a photo shoot for Italian Vogue.
True shopaholics and fashion aficionados headed for Italy have no doubt heard that they need to make a stop at the Quadrilatero della Moda (Fashion District) in Milan, where the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele is located.
Literally translating to ‘Rectangle of Gold’, this square consisting of the streets of Via della Spiga, Via Manzoni, Via Sant’Andrea and Via Montenapoleone is the destination for those who want to bring home the latest fashion. Indeed, this area is lined with boutiques showcasing some of the world’s most recognized fashion labels, including Armani, Prada, Versace, Dolce & Gabbana, Gucci and Louis Vuitton. After all, Milan is widely considered to be one of the fashion capitals of the world.
Shoe Shopping – La Ventrina di Beryl

We already bought accessories and clothes, so now, for the final touch, the shoes. KOKET girls love shoes and we also love this kind of incredible little stores. A favorite of the fashion set—and locals—for its distinctive designs with heritage craftsmanship, La Vetrina di Beryl is for shoe addicts like us. It has the best selection of designer shoes in town with unique pieces that cannot be found anywhere else.
Lunch – Baglioni

After all the shopping we would love to have a nice Italian lunch to get our energy in the right place. The best feature in this elegant café inside the Hotel Baglioni is its private exit, which brings you out by Armani on via della Spiga. The place is laid out in drawing room style, and frequented by ladies who lunch.
Relax time – QC Termemilano

The recent popularity of ancient baths has the chic set flocking to QC Termemilano which focuses on relaxation, restoration, and rejuvenation through Turkish baths, massages, and dips in the pool. Get a nice massage so you can relax and have a incredible rest of afternoon.
For sure you have your energy up to see some incredible design right now. We will be at iSalone Milano 2015 from 14th to the 19th of April and we would just love your visit at our stand – Pavilion 14 D51.
Don’t miss the opportunity to hear our story, touch our extinguish materials and empowering fabrics.
Flower shopping – Frida’s

With daily deliveries of every type of floral variety, the options at Frida’s flower stores are endless. They always have a very unique selection of flowers in unexpected colors. And for brides-to-be looking for inspiration, make sure to check out their centerpieces, bouquets, and a decor section worthy of a contessa. Select you favorite flowers to bring back to your fabulous hotel and create a nice environment for yourself.
Dinner – II Marchesino

Local superchef Gualtiero Marchesi (knight of the Italian republic, and the first Italian to win three Michelin stars) opened this chic little diner next door to La Scala in May 2008. The bar area, serving breakfast and post-performance snacks, is sexy in a 1980s NASA HQ kind of way; the restaurant is more refined, with deep-red upholstery. Although Marchesi is nearly 80, his dishes smack of innovation: a kebab version of costoletta Milanese, for instance, and a Campari and grapefruit slushy.

Hope you enjoyed our suggestions for your perfect KOKET day in Milan and we are super excited to see you in Milan next week and share with you our exciting novelties and extinguish materials.
