Last night, the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York opened its doors for the Manus x Machina exhibit showcasing a fascinating blend of style and tech. Even more fascinating are Met Gala 2016 best dressed celebrities on the red carpet, the exclusive VIPs of society who get first glimpse at this amazing collection. However, the red carpet runway is where they truly shine, displaying decadent “tech inspired” gowns that will make your jaw drop. Here are a few of KOKET’s favorite Met Gala 2016 celebrities.
Taylor Swift
T-Swift went futuristic rocker chic for Met Gala 2016, resembling the Drapesse Chair.
T-Swift is our first Met Gala 2016 celebrity stunner of the night. Taylor ditched her usual feminine look for futuristic metallic chic by Louis Vuitton, complete with platinum hair and a sultry deep purple lip. Her sassy reptile print dress matches well with KOKET’s Drapesse chair, wrapped in a cream metallic reptile print leather.
Selena Gomez

The haute couture model of the Kardashian clan stunned in a geometric cut-out Atelier Versace gown in striking tones of pale blue, nude and white. The Gem table lamp features the ever-trending geometric look in the aged brass base, constructed around a colored glass jewel.
Cindy Crawford
Cindy Crawford dazzled in silver just like the Eternity chandelier crystals dazzle in the light.
Cindy Crawford proves that beauty doesn’t fade with age. The 50 year-old looked amazing as she stepped out in a shimmering silver Balmain gown. Also shimmering in silver is KOKET’s Eternity chandelier featuring individually placed crystals wrapped in silver bands for a show-stopping source of light.
Nicole Kidman
Kidman was the celestial goddess at Met Gala 2016, channeling silver and black like the Mandy stool.

Gigi Hadid

The it-model stepped onto the red carpet with beau Zayn Malik in a chrome gray, custom Tommy Hilfiger gown complete with a $2,000 chrome and crystal manicure. The fully upholstered Desire chair’s pleated details and hammered chrome frame is just as desirable as Gigi’s attire.
Claire Danes
Claire Danes literally lit up Met Gala 2016 in a striking glow-in-the-dark dress. When the lights are on, the full skirt matches the full body of the Cocktail chair.
Claire Danes literally lit up the red carpet in a futuristic meshed with Cinderella, light-up ball gown by Zac Posen. Fiber optics inside the dress lit up to create a breathtaking, starlight gown. The cushy Cocktail chair from KOKET has a plush round body, reminiscent of the full skirt worn by Danes, and rests on a polished metal band.
Zoe Saldana
