Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park and Dinner by Heston Blumenthal
The Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park is one of London’s most acclaimed five-star hotels! It has exuded an intriguing mix of English elegance and luxury since it opened over 115 years ago, but the current renovation project it is undergoing is taking its look to a whole new level of decadence! Interior designer Joyce Wang was commissioned to oversee the renovation and her new lobby, shown above, that was unveiled this past January perfectly blends the hotel’s heritage with an updated glamour!
In addition to the completed entrance and lobby, the renovation includes the majority of the rooms and the addition of two entirely new, luxurious penthouse suites. The hotel’s stunning spa and world-famous restaurants and bar are also undergoing face-lifts which are being overseen by the esteemed New York interior designer Adam D. Tihany. The renovation is expected to be completed in the Spring of 2018 – we will be sure to share!
Now to the dining! Mandarin Oriental’s restaurant Dinner by Heston Blumenthal is one of the world’s most celebrated restaurants and definitely one of the best restaurants in London. An elegant, contemporary space serving a menu inspired by historic British gastronomy, a fascination of Blumenthal’s and one you are sure to enjoy. Large windows offer diners stunning views of Hyde Park to one side and floor-to-ceiling glass walls to the other offer views of the kitchen and its unique pulley system which rotates the spit over an open fire.
Fera at Claridge’s
Located in London’s Mayfair district in the iconic 5-star art-deco style luxury hotel, Claridge’s, is the fabulous upscale restaurant Fera! Chef Simon Rogan offers elaborate tasting menus inspired by the seasons and an extensive award-wining list of over 700 wines. Designed by Guy Oliver of the firm Oliver Laws to portray the restaurants nature style while respecting the art deco glamour of Claridge’s. The banquettes, tables and chairs were custom made for the space by the talented Ben Whistler.

Inspired by the decadence of the 20s and 30s, Kaspar’s Seafood Bar and Grill is located on the Northbank of River Thames in the Covent Garden district in one of London’s most renowned landmarks, The Savoy Hotel.
