The event packed Paris Design Week and semi-annual master of all trade shows, Maison et Objet, are kicking off this Friday, September 8th. Paris Design Week will run through Saturday the 16th and Maison et Objet 2017 through Tuesday the 12th.
If you are planning to be there (and you totally should be!), or if you are just dreaming of going (totally acceptable!) here are KOKET’s top picks for design venues to visit across the city!

The newly renovated Whistler Hotel, tucked between the Gare du Nord and Gare de l’Est, welcomes you to an unforgettable experience. Trunks, antique globes, and upholstered walls transport 21st century travelers into the mysterious, captivating atmosphere of trains from a bygone era. Designed by self-acclaimed “atmosphere-maker”, Sandrine Alouf, who defines herself as neither architect nor interior designer, but rather as someone who develops the feeling of any place where human beings move around.
Grand Marché Stalingrad

The Grand Marché is a restaurant and bar offering music and 5 different food and drink bars set throughout a classical building designed by architect Claude-Nicolas Ledoux. Visit their new concept store, a gallery-boutique composed of four unique spaces, found on the upper floors of the Grand Marché Stalingrad. If you see something you like in this beautifully designed space be sure to ask about the “object menu” which allows you to buy any of the pieces that surround you.
