Well-edited and immensely functional, this is how one of Texas’ top interior designers Maureen Stevens of her namesake Austin based interior styling and design firm describes the main ingredients she puts into each of the spaces she creates. She then adds refreshing to classy, a dash of “oomph” to sophisticated and there you have the recipe for her style aesthetic!

Since late 2013 Maureen Stevens Design has been designing medium to high-end residential and commercial spaces and although her firm is young its growing portfolio has lots to be admired. Unpretentious and approachable, she loves to create interiors that tell a story through incorporating mementos, curiosities and artifacts reminiscent of the client’s life, their travels, experiences, family, etc.
For as long as she can remember Maureen has been passionate about curating visually pleasing atmospheres, so a career in interior design was a natural choice. Maureen lives in Austin with her husband and two young children – rocking the entrepreneur, mom and wife life!

On a recent project Maureen used our very own KOKET’s luxury furniture and decor to help create a daring navy and magenta pad with a boutique hotel vibe for her client’s condo unit at the Seaholm towers in Austin.

KOKET’s Rêve, the stunning black and gold sunburst mirror pops against this vibrant living rooms patterned wallpaper. Kelly, KOKET’s luxury sofa upholstered in a brilliant navy blue velvet from KOKET’s Textile collection sits beneath Rêve and next to Besame II, KOKET’s gorgeous upholstered chair in bright pink with delicate polished brass legs.
