The Glamour, Speed, and Style of the Ocean Liner

Explore the Romantic and Remarkable Ocean Liner at the Ocean Liners: Glamour, Speed, and Style Exhibition
The idea of climbing aboard a ship as the best form of travel across the ocean seems completely insane in today’s day and age, but there is something very intriguing and romantic about the age of ocean travel and the remarkable ocean liners that traveled the open seas from the mid-19th century to the mid-20th century.
If you are at all as fascinated with ocean liners and the great age of ocean travel as we are, we highly recommend you find a way to visit Ocean Liners: Glamour, Speed, and Style, an exhibition co-organized by the Peabody Essex Museum located outside Boston and London’s Victoria and Albert Museum. The exhibit runs through October 9th at the PEM and then it will travel across the sea to the V&A where it will open on February 3, 2018.
