One of Chicago’s top interior designers, the high-end, luxury design firm Donna Mondi Interior Design has been creating intriguing interiors since 2001. Established on a love for design, DMID provides a personalized, passionate design experience for their clients. Founder Donna Mondi is an expert at creating beautiful juxtapositions of opposite design techniques: modern yet classic, edgy yet sophisticated- these combinations make for dynamic compositions that both intrigue and please the eye.
Featuring some of our favorite projects by the firm, let’s start with this unique space. The mixture of the neutral upholstery with the bold art creates a beautiful balance! Not to mention the matching purple furniture piece ties everything together nicely.
I spy with my little eye KOKET! In the same residence is this stunning room- complete with stunning wallpaper and gold accents. The different textures from the metallics to the feathers give great visual interest.
This design is not for the faint of heart- and for that, we love it! Interesting, courageous choices are our favorite things to see in a design firm, and we can all agree Donna Mondi does it with style. The sideboard is a custom piece by KOKET, based on the Divine Armoire.
With an eye for artwork and unique furniture, every little piece comes together to create a dynamic picture.
