Nomad Monaco 2018 Design & Art Exhibition Showered Villa La Vigie with Beauty
NOMAD Monaco, “The Travelling Showcase for Collectable Design,” returned to Monaco for the second edition of its design and art exhibition on April 26th – 29th, 2018. Once again the outcome was stunning! Held at Villa la Vigie, Karl Lagerfeld’s former residence, a selection of galleries from around the world gathered to stage beautiful presentations in the historic building. Located on the magnificent Côte d’Azur Villa la Vigie boasts gorgeous architecture and magnificent panoramic views of the Mediterranean making it an exquisite setting for the four-day contemporary design and art exhibition.

In addition to offering inspiring decor, NOMAD, collaboratively with its partners and sponsors, engages its visitors with a variety of other exceptional experiences. VIP events like performative dinners in private homes and private visits to a selection of the region’s cultural institutions are organized. And immersive installations, performances, exhibitions and unique objects are integrated throughout the Villa. Another key feature of the NOMAD experience is its design conversation series which was inaugurated by Lord Norman Foster and London Design Museum director Deyan Sudjic for this 2018 Monaco edition.
The 2018 exhibitors included some of the most internationally acclaimed galleries and their presentations included spectacular creations by the marvelously talented artisans and designers they represent and sell. Here are some of Lh’s favorites along with a list of all the 2018 participants! And be sure to check out NOMAD’s St. Mortiz edition for more great design!
