At Love Happens we love edgy glamour with a touch of drama and an aura of warm and cozy refinement, so when we saw the luxury interior in northwest London designed by Trilbey Gordon, we instantly fell in love!
Tasked to renovate and redesign the Victorian terraced home of her close friend and longtime client, Vogue fashion writer turned interior designer, Trilbey Gordon, created a seductive masterpiece. With two teenage daughters and a Jack Russell cross in residence, Trilbey used her design talent to mix sumptuous materials and edgy finishes with cozy and playful forms to create a sexy luxury interior while still delivering a highly family friendly home.

Dark stained oak parquet floors and traditional moldings maintain the Victorian home’s roots while a stunning contemporary console, wall of butterflies, and a contemporary red chandelier bring playful modern glamour to the entryway—the mood of the home is set!
In the living room, the family’s collection of antique leather and hand-painted clothbound books is beautifully displayed accented by perfectly appointed accessories in custom bookshelves.
Oh, this kitchen! From the Tiffany Blue Amazonite stone island and dark moody cabinets to the vintage brass chandelier and custom painted ceiling gold ceiling, this kitchen exudes glamour while remaining wonderfully cozy.
Rich layers of textures and finishes flow from dining room to kitchen to family room creating singular yet united spaces in this open floor plan.
A stunning Asian inspired silk paneled wall in the family room brings another layer of interest and allure to this comfortable and simultaneously decedant luxury interior.
