When a professional single woman wanted a home that served as an escape from the hectic outside world, Singapore-based interiors firm Design Intervention designed the perfect Bachelorette Pad retreat in the heart of Singapore. DI partners Nikki Hunt and Andrea Savage are masters at bringing personality to life by using visual language to express their clients’ passions and aspirations. Thus, in true Design Intervention fashion, they crafted this pad to their client’s exact passions and aesthetic. Combining poised glamour, and feminine romance, while also incorporating her Chinese heritage they created the perfect escape from the modern world.

Living Space or Spa Reception?

Extravagant feminine soft tones flow throughout the entire home. Soft colors with glamorous gold finishes and bold chandeliers transform the space into a replica of a luxury spa. Fresh flowers and large windows allow natural light to shine through the home creating a rejuvenating haven in every room.

Design Intervention Details!

Candles, teacups, pillows, and all household accessories precisely selected by the designers add extraordinary detail that ensures a cohesive flow. Design Intervention did not overlook one thing when creating this oasis.

A Suite of Luxury and Serenity

The apartment is a seamless flow that leads to the master suite, the ultimate place for serenity. A perfect blend of dimmed sconces, lush materials, and handcrafted wallpaper reflect Chinese heritage while creating a place of luxury and leisure. The homes’ feminine romance and oasis feel combined with it’s ideal Singapore downtown location, give the best of both worlds. Thus, making it an optimal location to live.

A Bathroom Fit for a Queen

When creating a home that doubles as an escape, special attention to the master bathroom is crucial. The team thoughtfully designed this space with extra consideration to create the perfect place to unwind and pamper. The attention to detail and craftsmanship elevates your senses and recharges the soul, a core value of the company.  Exquisite hand molded bathtub, vanity, and shower give an unique experience that keeps the eye looking.

Kitchen Glamour

Adjacent to the bathroom is a splash of pattern in the kitchen. While still adding to the flow, the pop of stripes against a plain tan wall adds dimension and a touch of moderness to the space. The golden table with bright lights hanging above gives timeless elegance and glamour against the decorative chairs creating an appealing visual language that represents the client: modern yet historic.  

Design Intervention outdid themselves with precise attention to detail. Creating a visual language that is the ultimate feminine indulgence to make any woman feel pampered and peaceful. It is no surprise this space won best interior lighting design, best kitchen design, and best bathroom design, in Singapore, while also receiving the Asia Pacific property award. We cannot wait to see what unexpected yet beautifully crafted and meticulous project they do next!
