Christian Louboutin Shoes: New Footwear Inspired by Bhutan’s Craft Traditions

Christian Louboutin has presented a special capsule collection, named LouBhoutan. This new capsule collection takes its inspiration from Bhutan, the small kingdom in the Eastern Himalayas, celebrating Bhutanese craftsmanship. When Louboutin traveled to this country he discovered a happy place.

The new Christian Louboutin Shoes took six years to develop. It was created with the students of Bhutan’s Royal Art School and consists of 13 styles handcrafted by Bhutanese artisans.

Christian Louboutin, previewed the “Loubhoutan” collection during Paris Fashion Week 2019 at the Manège Battisti in La Caserne des Célestins. The fashion designer has created the “Loubhoutan Express”, a train where he shows guests the mystical country of Bhutan. Decorated elegantly the train gave guests the opportunity to grab a seat and drink while enjoying the views of the small kingdom of the Eastern Himalayas through their artificial windows.
