Meet the Worlds Largest Starbucks
The Worlds Largest Starbucks opened its doors at the end of last year in Chicago. On the first Friday (the day they opened) they had full capacity with close to 1,000 people in just one morning! And of course, the line stretched down the block and around the corner.
The Starbucks Reserve Roastery Chicago has five floors and covers 35,000 square feet. On the first floor, coffee beans are cooled and you can find a full bean scooping bar. Here, you can take a peek inside the roasting process while also finding a coffee-to-go bar.
Located on the second floor, is the Princi Bakery & Caffee, where everything is made for the first and third floors. Here you can try delicious food like croissants, breakfast and lunch sandwiches, pizzas, salads and much more.
If you’re a true coffee lover the third floor is perfectly made for you. Here you can experience the most interesting and sophisticated coffee drinks, while you can actually see how they are made.
On the fourth floor is the Arriviamo (translated in English for “we have arrived”). That’s true, the world’s largest Starbucks doesn’t have only coffee! This bar serves wine, beer, and cocktails as well and includes a list of signature Chicago drinks.
Last, but not least, is the fifth-floor, which is a rooftop space that is open seasonally and for private events. Naturally, it’s closed for now, but prepare to enjoy it during spring and summer – we’re sure it’s going to be a popular and glamorous space to enjoy your favorite drinks.
