Gray and Gold
“Grey color is considered to be boring,” explains Sergei Savateev. “But today this color is one from the head-liners in such styles as loft, minimalism and hi-tech. Gray is a color of preference for privacy, some peace, and rest. It mostly invites those, who work with people or are engaged in cognitive demands, as a general interior color. The walls, ceiling, furniture, curtains, and floors are grey. Hues and saturation of the grey are different only. Gold was added by additional details and accessories. It is accentuated by the picture frame.” And so became the award-winning Gray and Gold residence.

What is your idea of perfect happiness?
For me, happiness is the joy of the current day and what is happening to me during that day: my favorite job, the time I can spend with my loved ones, learning something new.
What do you consider your greatest achievement?
International recognition of my work. It’s a joyous moment for me. It means I can make the world a little better.
What profession does your alter ego have?
My alter-ego owns a large family restaurant, with real home cooking and a cozy atmosphere. A restaurant that would be a long-standing tradition for many families to visit.
The project you will never forget.
The project that will always remain in my memory, and which means a lot to my career, is the Gray&Gold project. This is my first project that won me the international A’Design Award and Competition 2020. This opened a new stage in my creative career.
Your favourite business tool or resource.
Of course, this is my imagination! That is where it all starts. It assembles the puzzle of individual images to create a timeless design.
The most timeless design.
I would compare timeless design to a line that starts with past times and fashion and ends with a future that we have yet to see. And in the middle, there is a certain mix. That’s what timeless design is for.
