Kamalroop Singh is also the Chairman of the Indian Institute of Interior Design. KR Architecture Studio’s work evolves from exploration to knowing distinctive thoughts and processes, resulting in beautiful designs.
The driving force behind the KR Architecture Studio team, Ar. Kamalroop Singh began in the field of architecture more than 19 years ago. After working under firms in Bhopal and Bangalore for ten years, he set up his own practice. Today he mentors a team of 15 innovative and dedicated professionals who he works with to create stand-out designs. Spaces that are always in tune with the minutest of details and the latest upcoming technologies. Experiments, adaptations, thoughts, and learning make Ar. Kamalroop Singh one of the best architects in India.

What is your idea of perfect happiness?
When I am with my family, I feel most accomplished, and I feel happy for what life has given me, the best of all. Secondly, when I am contented, I feel happy.
What do you consider your greatest achievement?
Creating good Architecture designs and creating beautiful spaces and pieces of art is what gives me happiness. And accomplishing clients’ needs and requirements is what makes me happy. While achieving this, I feel mentally strong and feel most positive for myself and my client and my team.
What profession does your alter ego have?
My alter ego will be me, who is a singer/ vocalist.
The project you will never forget.
Lacasa Villa.
The splendid grandeur of this four-story, 12,000 sq ft, Bhopal-based residence was the outcome of the exquisite requirements of the client, who is himself a real estate developer. Since the client aspired for a home filled with soothing luxury, serene design features, and calming comforts, this project’s scope provided the right wavelength and a fine medium for the architects to express their design language. Pushing the boundaries to accentuate aesthetics, the perfect blend of interiors was created with an adequate amount of minimalism fused with a love for pastel calm.
Elevated to a 6ft 6 inches height to match the plinth level, the house adorns a beautifully landscaped lawn sprinkled with green plantations and charming outdoor accessories with an elaborate space to park eight cars. The outdoors of the house is designed as an envelope for the interiors. The most striking feature is the small water body with floating flowers in a welcoming gesture, along with a gazebo.
