Over the course of her career, Emily has worked across industries, including fashion, restaurants, marketing, lifestyle, beauty, and more. Most recently, she has launched her own line of beautiful wallpaper.
Emily grew up between Manhattan and Shelter Island and, as a result, has developed a distinctive aesthetic, incorporating different environments and perspectives into her work. Influenced by the natural world, Emily’s designs balance sleek modernity with rustic sensibilities.

What is your idea of perfect happiness?
Somehow finding the miraculous balance between work satisfaction and plenty of time for family.
What do you consider your greatest achievement?
My amazing children.
What profession does your alter ego have?
A folk rock singer in the 70’s.
What is one project you will never forget?
My ‘Silver Beach’ toile pattern, inspired by my beloved Shelter Island, which instigated the creation of my own line of wallpaper.
What is your favorite medium, or the one that brings you the most personal joy.
Watercolor.
What inspires you?
The ocean, nature, travel, magnificent early evening light.
What is your creative mission?
To bring my vision of beauty found in our everyday lives into peoples’ homes.

Perhaps one of my patterns can be used to cover a sofa one of these days!
