The Place to Stay for Art & Luxury Lovers in Dallas

It’s no secret that we at Love Happens seek out the most luxurious and artistic venues when traveling. That’s how we found ourselves at the HALL Arts Hotel when visiting Dallas, Texas.
Situated in the heart of the Dallas Arts District, the hotel offers luxurious accommodations and stunning decor. It’s only fitting than an “Arts Hotel” showcases the goods, and HALL doesn’t disappoint. From dazzling light installations hanging overhead to wall sculptures and tapestries, a stay here is like a stay in a museum, complete with galleries and gardens.

Night In a Museum
When walking into the HALL Arts Hotel, one is immediately enveloped by the creative decor. Aside from the hotel’s captivaing interior design, multiple art galleries occupy the first floor, with an urban garden and a rooftop pool to top it all off. The views of the city and plush, comfortable rooms make for a decadent travel experience.

The Gallery, Sculpture Hall, and Flora Hall boast contemporary art that suit the surrounding neighbordhood. Upon entering, guests are greated with a large textured multimedium piece by Nekisha Durrett called Then I Wished That I Could Come Back as a Flower, the enticing oil painting Volvere by Alison Watt, and overhead hangs an airborne mosaic of tambourines, mirrored acrylic, leather, and suede (Resistance Reverb: Movements 1 by Lava Thomas). Every area of the accomodation comes with new and inviting artistic visons to admire.
Dining In Style
The HALL’s Ellie Restaurant and Lounge was named for hotel developer Craig Hall’s late mother. She was a creative, intrepid soul; a teacher, an artist, and a woman’s rights activist. The restaurant wears her name proudly, as she adored gathering those she loved around a table for a good meal.

Ellie’s restaurant lives up to its name with its bright, lighthearted decor, inviting atmosphere, and delectable dishes. They emphasize a commitment to sustainable, locally sourced ingredients. The carmelized onion dip stood out as a surprsingly tasty twist on a classic starter.
The menu includes an expertly curated fine wine list, creative cocktails, and diverse cuisine. To boot, the restaurant’s terrace offers a gorgeous view of the famed Texas Sculpture Walk. It’s a delightful and delicious way to experience the beauty of the neighbordhood while indulging in unique culinary offerings. They even offer brunch experinces and a prix fixe menu.
