Mesa Verde by Bruno Felipe and Maria Eduarda Pinto, BF Design

“‘Mergulhe no Verde (Diving into the Green),’ referencing the Brazilian artist Cildo Meireles, emphasizes an aesthetic vision through a journey where the user-subject develops sensations, visions, and interpretations as they appropriate the space itself.

We understand that the interaction between the table and the user is unique and personal and that the overall composition is part of the work.

The current historical and political moment worldwide stands in favor of a “green world” against wildfires and in favor of reforestation. In this sense, our proposal is to bring the essence of Brazilian identity and bossa nova into the space.” | Quote from @mariaecpinto & @bfinteriordesigner

La Mer en Hiver by Catherine Cabral with Christofle

“It was a pleasure to participate once again in ‘A festa das mesas’ in its 10th edition at the ever-iconic Hotel Palácio Estoril. Our table featured incredible pieces by Christofle, a French brand with almost 200 years of history, including two vermeil fruit bowls that are true works of art.” | Quote from @catherinecabralinteriors

Nature’s Enchanted Beauty by Janet Morais

Paying tribute to nature’s enchanted beauty, Janet Morais, founder of LH Mag and the By KOKET Group, created one of the most luxurious table designs for A Festa das Mesas 2024.

Inspired by an old abandoned mansion taken over by nature in Monte Estoril, Janet’s table featured an exquisite floral arrangement by Amor & Lima appearing to grow up through the Boca do Lobo dining table. Entangled in the florals sat a hand-carved wood snake, the beginnings of one of KOKET’s Serpentine sconces.

The inviting table setting included crystal and flatware by Vista Alegre. The feathered placemats, napkins, napkin rings, and porcelain dinnerware came from Janet’s personal collection. As a lover of dinner parties, collecting tableware is one of Janet’s passions.

“I am extremely grateful to my remarkable team @bykoket @lovehappensmag the exquisite flowers by @amor_e_lima, the crystal and flatware by @vistaalegreofficial table by @bocadolobo and @joao_rolo_couture for bringing to life all of my fashion dreams and @sol_pereira_mua the official glam squad.” | Quote from @janetlakoket

Festa no Palácio by Ana Veiga, João Urbano, and Manuel Arez from Conceitos de Arte

“’PARTY AT THE PALACE.’ Inspired by the iconic Palácio do Estoril Hotel, the table pays tribute to the sophistication and charm of this legendary setting, using the hotel itself as the starting point for this exclusive composition. We also want to thank our sponsors: @a_table_story @costanovatableware @christofle @hortodocampogrande @mamoadesign @shop_one_of_a_kind @paulapaeslemeart @pedrosoeosorio” | Quote from @conceitosdearte

Carmen by Dino Gonçalves

A specialist in architecture and interiors, floral decoration, and Vitrinism, Dino Gonçalves created a whimsical, delightful, cool, and chic table setting inspired by the one and only Carmen Miranda. It is definitely one of the most luxurious table designs of 2024.

Trésor Fleuri by José Diogo Costa with Sanimaia

“‘Trésor Fleuri.’ A table that blooms with every detail.
Creation: @zediogocosta x @sanimaia_; Plates – @raynaud_porcelaines; Flatware – @cutipol; Glasses – @vetrerie.empoli; Napkins and tablecloths – in-house production; Silver giraffes – @alcinosilversmith; Chairs – @atelier_m_23.” | Quote from @sanimaia

Palm Beach Revival by Maria Barros with Sanimaia

“After 10 years, I returned to participate in the Grand Festa das Mesas at the wonderful Hotel Palácio do Estoril. I wanted to pay homage to the setting I created in 2014, which celebrated Palm Beach in its Slim Aarons era. It’s an aesthetic I still adore—it’s everything I love. Palm Beach is a breath of fresh air and high spirits!

This time, I had the full support of SANIMAIA. I absolutely loved this partnership, not only because the store offers incredible products but especially because of the human touch and the way I was welcomed into this company, which is nothing less than a big family.

The beautiful flowers could only be from @decofloralia, and the plants that transported us to Palm Beach were from @jardimprimavera_sintra.

A summer dream! Starter plate and main plate – Bitossi; Flatware – Les Ottomans; Placemats – Bitossi; Water glass – Gessato; Wine glass – Bitossi; Napkins and tablecloths (custom-made for the event); Candleholders – Les Ottomans; Chairs – Eichholtz.” | Quote from @mariabarrospersonal

Pavillon by Pedro Silva with Decoflorália

Since the age of 20, Pedro Silva has been managing Decoflorália, Portugal’s premium floral designer, event provider, and flower shop! For certain one of the most luxurious table designs of 2024, Pedro’s table setting for A Festa das Mesas 2024 was a floral dream.

Terra by João Bernandes Vilela and Tiago Patrício Rodrigues of Pura Cal

“We decided to return to the origins—simple, organic, and grounded—to create this concept. Going back to the origins means returning to our roots. We invited people who understand and share our vision to collaborate with us.

We started with the shape of the table: irregular and organic. Ceramist @mariacastelbranco created vases, candleholders, and bowls reminiscent of hills and volcanic cones. @lucien_blondel used moss to create volume and, with the flowers, balanced the deeper tones of the table.

The plates, bowls, and appetizer plates from @mariaportugalterracota have a rustic yet modern style, with rounded shapes. The main plate is an antique porcelain piece from the 1950s, paired with glassware from the same era and the ultra-contemporary Eternal Snow glasses, designed by Bela Silva for @serax_official.

To complete the look, the delicate champagne-finished cutlery from @herdmarcutlery adds the touch of contemporary sophistication we were looking for. The chairs have their own story: the timeless Caravela by Olaio and the classic Cesca chairs, upholstered with the incredible fabric from @lamaisonpierrefrey.” | Quote from @puracal

Jantar de Natal na Selva by Rita Salgueiro

“Thank you to Horto do Campo Grande, especially @pedropulidovalente, for this partnership that allowed me to create a true jungle in my favorite corner of the Atlantic Room at the @hotelpalacioestoril. Without your support, it would have been impossible to create this setting around the table, and the whole concept of a Christmas Dinner in the Jungle would have been lost.

Thank you to Flávius, Cristiano, and João for helping me set up this jungle, and especially for delivering it on a Sunday to the Horto do Campo Grande nurseries.

Thank you to Vista Alegre for the incredible partnership we’ve built over the past six years and for once again providing me with the collections I chose to mix, along with the Atlantis glassware.” | Quote from @ritasalgueiro_

Sílvia Costa | Palm Bliss

Serene woven palm tree oversized floor lamps flank this gorgeous table design by Sílvia Costa. Paired with woven chairs and earthy-toned linens, the contemporary candle sticks and towering florals bring this table to life. Named Palm Bliss, this work of art is definitely one of the most luxurious table designs of 2024.

After the cocktail reception, a delicious dinner was served, during which Carlos Pissarra expressed heartfelt appreciation to each participant and thanked the collaboration of Real Companhia Velha (featuring Evel and Quinta do Cidrô wines) and SPAL, which debuted its new ÉTOILE dinnerware service on the Solidarity Table. This table, created by the event organizer, brought together a group of contributors who supported the SOS Children’s Villages.

Before the general entertainment and dancing to the sound of DJ Ricardo Ribas, conductor, and performer Manuela Oliveira enchanted the guests with her voice.
