Paris Design Week 2025 Events to Love

September may be one of the most beautiful times to visit Paris! Summer tourism has slowed, but the weather is not yet Fall. And if you love beauty, in September in Paris, you will find it beyond the city’s stunning landscape, robust museums, and exquisite fashion scene as Paris Design Week fuses itself throughout the urban center and across the country with France Design Week. Taking place alongside the world-renowned home decor trade show Maison & Objet, this year’s Paris Design Week and its fabulous lineup of events run from September 4-13, 2025.
Coraux de la Liberté – Aude Franjou
Colonne de Juillet, Place de la Bastille
Within the shadowed spiral of the July Column, a living reef of linen unfurls from pristine white to deep crimson. Artist Aude Franjou, presented by maison parisienne, transforms fragile fibers into monumental corals—symbols of resilience, rebirth, and the eternal allure of freedom.
A poetic metamorphosis at the very heart of Paris.
Le Labyrinthe – Jérémy Pradier-Jeauneau
Hôtel de la Marine, Place de la Concorde
With Le Labyrinthe, Jérémy Pradier-Jeauneau reimagines the historic idea of the Garde-Meuble—once the royal storehouse of furnishings—as a personal, poetic inventory. His labyrinth unfolds through courtyards and salons, where design converses with art, fashion, painting, photography, even scent.
A living collection of today’s decorative arts, both functional and abstract, crafted to spark wonder at every turn.
577 chaises : l’hémicycle citoyen – Claire Renard & Jean-Sébastien Blanc (Studio 5.5)
Archives Nationales, Hôtel de Soubise
Designers Claire Renard and Jean-Sébastien Blanc (Studio 5.5), with Festival du Monde and Leboncoin, reimagine the 577 seats of the French National Assembly. Each upcycled chair is unique, each inscribed with a word, each a citizen’s voice.
A powerful hemicycle of design and democracy—577 stories rising together as one.

Folie – Lucas Huillet & Alexandre Helwani
Hôtel de Sully, Marais
In the hushed courtyard of the Hôtel de Sully, designer Lucas Huillet and perfumer Alexandre Helwani create an otherworldly retreat. Folie is a monumental chaise draped in floating textiles, infused with scent—an intoxicating dialogue between discipline and delirium.
Heritage dissolves into fantasy, inviting you to surrender to reverie.
Spinning Around – Sophia Taillet
Musée de la Chasse et de la Nature, Marais
In the baroque courtyard of the Musée de la Chasse et de la Nature, Sophia Taillet sets nine mirrors into hypnotic motion. Turning like dancers, they capture sky, stone, and fleeting reflections of those who wander through.
A ballet of light and illusion—step in and become part of the choreography.
Pompeii-X – Jimmy Delatour
Galerie BSL, Rive Gauche
From the ashes of antiquity, Jimmy Delatour resurrects Pompeii’s splendor in marble and stone. Pompeii-X reimagines ruins as sculptural furniture—covetable relics that fuse archaeology with contemporary desire.
Timeless elegance, carved for eternity at Paris Design Week 2025
From September 4–13, Paris Design Week transforms the city into a stage of creativity, heritage, and seduction filled with events to love. Each piece is an invitation—to wander, to feel, to desire.
