Female Empowerment Shines in Dubai This November

November brings an influx of female power and creativity to the Middle East—especially to Dubai. Across a trio of inspiring events—the WE Convention, Dubai Design Week 2025, and the Vogue Business Global Summit—the city will celebrate women leading change in business, design, and beyond. Together, they mark a defining moment for female leadership and empowerment in the world of luxury.
The WE Convention: Women Empowering Women Across Industries
The month begins with the WE Convention | Women’s Empowerment Convention, taking place November 1–2 at Atlantis The Royal, Dubai. Hailed as the world’s largest forum for women leaders, the event brings together influential figures from across sectors—fashion, media, business, and design—to share their expertise and inspire the next generation of women.
Among the headliners is Anna Wintour, Global Editorial Director of Vogue and Chief Content Officer of Condé Nast. Other inspiring voices include Candace Bushnell, international best-selling author of Sex and the City; Amira Sajwani, Executive at DAMAC Properties; and Angela Orlov, Co-founder and Head of Design at ORLOV Jewelry. Together, these women embody the power of leadership, creativity, and ambition that continues to shape the modern female experience.
Dubai Design Week 2025: Feminine Creativity and Craft Take Center Stage
From November 4–9, Dubai Design Week returns with a celebration of innovation, artistry, and culture. Throughout the week, exhibitions at Downtown Design, Editions (Nov 5–9), and installations across the city will spotlight diverse talent—many of them female founders and visionaries driving the creative industries forward.

Among the highlights is my brand, KOKET, which brings its feminine, bold, and luxurious designs to the spotlight at the new Da Terra showroom on Jumeirah Road. Showroom founder Lama Kutait is another empowering woman in Dubai to know. Other must-see participants include Parisian designer Stéphanie Coutas and the mother-son design studio Strata by Saira Ahsan, both of whom will be showing at Downtown Design. And Yana Svetlova Wallcovering, showcasing her latest creations at her newly opened Dubai showroom.
Also not to miss: “The Ephemeral Petunia Garden” by Duette Studio founders Raha & Fuad, a poetic expression of nature’s impermanence through art and space.
Vogue Business Global Summit: Redefining the Future of Luxury
The conversation around female leadership and innovation continues later in the month at the Vogue Business Global Summit Middle East Edition, held November 17–18 in Dubai. Over two days, brand leaders, entrepreneurs, and creative pioneers will explore how the luxury industry can thrive amid rapid transformation in the region and beyond.
The summit promises thought-provoking discussions on topics like sustainability, digital evolution, and diversity in leadership. Among the standout figures is Khadija Al Bastaki, SVP of Dubai Design District (d3), whose commitment to nurturing creative talent exemplifies Dubai’s progressive spirit.
Dubai: A Global Hub for Women, Leadership, and Luxury
From the Atlantis The Royal to the Dubai Design District, November in Dubai celebrates women shaping the future—not only through design but through leadership, entrepreneurship, and creative innovation.
With KOKET joining this wave of empowerment at Dubai Design Week, the city once again proves why it is a beacon for luxury, creativity, and female ambition. Together, these events reflect the unstoppable force of women redefining success—and beauty—in every form.
